By accessing or using the Citability platform at citability.ai (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Citability.
2. Description of Service
Citability provides an AI visibility platform that includes domain scanning, citation tracking, visibility scoring, SEO intelligence, and related analytics tools. The Service analyses publicly available information about websites and their presence across AI platforms.
3. Account Registration
To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorised use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service beyond normal API usage
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent
- Submit domains you do not own or have authority to analyse, except where the Service is designed for competitive analysis
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by law
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Citability and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any data you provide to the Service.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI visibility scores, citation data, and recommendations are provided for informational purposes and should not be considered as guaranteed outcomes.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citability shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
